Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Conduct detailed interviews, surveys, and analysis sessions with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Prioritize requirements and identify gaps, dependencies, and impact on project timelines.
Process Mapping and Documentation
- Document current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
- Create process flow diagrams, use case scenarios, and wireframes to visualize proposed solutions.
- Develop clear and concise documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support business decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance business processes and maximize ROI.
Project Coordination and Communication
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Participate in project planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups to track progress and address issues.
- Ensure timely communication of project milestones, status updates, and risks to stakeholders.
Solution Design and Testing Support
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to design and validate solutions that meet business needs.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality and functionality.
- Document test cases, validate test results, and support end-users during the testing phase.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices
- Identify opportunities to improve business analysis processes and adopt best practices.
- Provide post-implementation support, gather feedback, and ensure solutions continue to meet business needs.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of successful project implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in participating in agile/scrum teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Knowledge of specific domain experience (e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce) may be a plus.
